Sweet Dreams!

Little Bear has very sweet dreams....makes him laugh out loud in his sleep!

(I've been trying so hard to get this on video, as he has been doing this for a couple months now, but this, is just awesome! We visited TN family this last weekend...he did amazing on the flights.... and he thought his youngest Aunt was the best and Mimi was so entertaining, that with in minutes of arriving both had him laughing out loud. And many silent laughs! More priceless memories and moments! )

Raspberries!!

So Little Bear amazes me every day...his new tricks are that he is learning how to blow Raspberries! I know I will probably regret him learning this so early...but I can't help it cause he is so cute when he does it! Besides all babies at some time learn this fun noise. We noticed the other day during bath time when we were blowing on his tummy that he was trying to mimic that sound, gurgling but not quit getting it...until yesterday! He doesn't always accomplish the "proper" technique, however it sure is incredible that he is indeed mimicking those sounds. :)

Papa's Visit!

Papa H. Came for a visit!!! Little Bear had a wonderful time being the center of attention!

He loves those computers like Daddy, Papa, and Uncle A!

 Time for smiles and wiggles!

I think this is the best photo ever! Playing with Papa! What in life is better then this!

3 months....and a few weeks!

Well I am a little behind in blogging on Little Bear, but you know what I don't feel guilty! I have been enjoying being a mom and I am amazed on how much he has grown and learned!
Baby Bear had gained! His last appointment 3weeks ago, he had in 5 weeks gained 30% of his body weight! The doctor agreed if we gained weight that fast we would be worried, but this was wonderful! He was a full 9.12 and now I would say over 10lbs!

He loves to smile, specially for Daddy, and then Mommy. He heard the garage door open today and looked up at me with the hugest smile! He knew Daddy was home!
He is working on the flirty eyes too

He has a new favorite toy, in a winnie the pooh musical bear.

He really only takes a pacifier in the car, the rest of the time not so interested
He loves his blue blanket! ...newest trick, holding his blanket to his cheek and sucking his thumb. Totally Linus from Peanuts....love it!
He loves to ride in his carseat, when we are on the highway...not so much street stop and go...

I just love his Peter Pan shadow on this photo!

He tends to sleep about 6 to7 hours a night for 2 nights, then a night with waking up every 3 hours. So we are getting there! :) He is as much of a morning person as Mommy
He sleeps with his arms above his head like Daddy.

HE LOVES his time with his Papa...who we just got for a quick 3 day visit. Smiles, and smiles over my dad's antics! I melted ever time I watched this play time. What a special treat. (Special pictures of this to follow)

He gets stronger every day, loves to "stand" when held, and holds his head up nicely during tummy time and looks around. and when held up, can hold his whole body out superman style! Its awesome! :)

He is a TV junkie, so we have turned off the tube when his is awake...except for an occasional Baby Einstein or Create PBS so I can throw in a load off wash, and tidy up a bit.

He has giggled, but not solidly laughing yet, more a silent laugh right now
Although he laughs in his sleep; I guess his dreams are funny! :) Its the best noise ever!
He finally has graduated into size 1 diapers! And fitting in the 0 to 3 sizes!
He still loves his music!
He's learned how to use the kick stand toy, makes things move.
He loves his reflection in the mirror, his friend is there to play
He has learned to splash in his bath, and still loves the water, and his bath time.
He is learning to grabs things and been pulling our hands to his mouth.

He loves our daily walks, specially the bumps of the cobblestone on the street.
He still gets the hiccups daily and gets scared whenever we sneeze
He can still go from all smiles to tears in an instant, and then back again!
He has the most amazing expressions and new ones every day!

He loves to tell you about his day with his coos and ahhhs

He is a socialite and has a bored cry, a polite cry, hungry cry, really mad cry just to name a few... and oh man can he display the best pouty lip ever when he is sad or upset!

He has discovered his thumb on his right hand, and two fingers of his left....hehehe, sometimes tries to fit all three in at once.

Waking up is hard to do! Here he is sitting up and still totally out! He got to have his first dance with Grandma Jane! and his first time away from mom and dad with Grandma Jane, spent a morning with her, while we were in a wedding. :)
He also enjoys his swing that Grandma Jane found for a deal on craigslist, he still loves his cuddle and hold time, so if I try to do the swing more then once in the day...then he doesn't like it so much.
So much happening every day! New discoveries. Its so much fun!

Oh I just Love this Boy!

Cousins!!

The Cousin's Came to visit!!

Getting all 4 cousins to sit for a picture...hahaha! This was the best one. I think its time to use some special  software and make a complete picture.... :) But for now, this one is the best. :)

The girls were in love with their little cousin! They couldn't get enough holding time! :)
 Just Love this picture!!
I just Love this picture!! Ever so patient Aunt letting little hands do hair! :)
Beautiful!! I can't believe she is 4 and a half!

So adorable!! Love this little 3 and a half year old!

Baby Bear Loved all the attention from his cousins! The day after they left he was rather bored with just Mommy to entertain. He now likes to be turned out to see all the action...doesn't want to miss any extra attention he might get. :)
It was a wonderful visit that went way too fast! I do hope someday we can all live so much closer, but I know it sure has made us cherish our times together when we get them. It was so much fun to see my nieces love on my son and get to see my sister on the Aunt side of spoiling with cuddles and snuggles. The next visit can't come soon enough.

Like Father Like Son

I love it when Doc comes home, excited to spend time with Little Bear! Moments like these... are just priceless!

Update on Little Bear, we went to the specialist on my birthday and basically its the same news. The cord is lower then they like but not as low as it could be to be a sure indicator, and the thicker in a spot, but not as thick as it should be to be a tethered cord. So...we wait. Because of his size, being little and young, they want to wait on the MRI til Autumn, for that I am thankful they aren't in a rush and making sure to even do the test for his safety. Little guy must be so use to the doctor cause he didn't even cry when they stripped him down and laid him on the table....picture as point. :) Thank you for prayers! Now we just wait.

I love this picture...his arm behind his head, relaxing just after he just ate! Ahhh! :)

Happy Baby! :)

Our Little Bear is such a happy Baby! :) Video capture of his grinning today! its wonderful to be greeted by this smile every morning, and during the day just so happy to see me.... I love it!

Update...he's grown! 7lbs 8oz. Wahoo! 21 inches long! Doesn't fit in his preemie outfits anymore, and those newborn ones won't fit much longer as he no longer swims in them. Aunt Aunie you would be proud. :) So the sonogram came back with some results that basically mean we are referred now to a specialist. We have an appointment to see them July 5th...My big 30th birthday! (Hard to believe I'm at that milestone in life already) Anyway, then from there they will schedule an MRI so they can get a closer look. Right now it does look like his spinal cord is attached to the spinal column....that needs to be hanging free within the spinal column, could be attached by a little piece of extra fat...funny ironic it would be fat since we want him to have extra fat...just not there. It would mean a surgery to un-attach it. Scary for this Momma Bear. Thankfully its not hurting him in any way now, without it though it would mean problems as he is older, walking and digestive. However, they can't determine for sure it is yet until the MRI. So we are still praying. Praying that with the MRI they find nothing and that he has been completely healed! :)

So had the two month check up, they were impressed at his rolling over, the nurse was sure it was a fluke...but since he's rolled over multiple times and then proceeded to try on the Doctors table, we showed her otherwise. We decided to do a few of the immunizations but to space them out, and not do them all at once. Got his first DTaP shot and did great! Screamed two good screams right at the shot, I picked him up and he stopped, didn't even cry after that. I think I was more traumatized. I seriously watched him like a hawk for the next 24hours taking his temperature every hour,  checking for that fever and it never presented itself. so phew! Hard decision to make for this momma, but after the Doctor said in her entire career she hasn't had one child react poorly with life time effects, but has had five children die of just pertussis. and with him being so little that was more of a risk. So we opted for doing a few of the more life threatening diseases. So that's the medical update! :) Thank you for those prayers, keep em coming, we will continue to ask for that support and for a complete healing of Little Bear.
