MRI Results

Here are a couple pictures I took of Little Bear before his MRI

there is something about seeing your son in a hospital gown that just tears at the heart in a way that nothing really can.

Oh my smiley toothless little boy! :)

Little Bear had his appointment today about the MRI results! No surgery required! Huge, huge praise in that! They did say his cord at the end is thicker, I guess its suppose to be smaller, and that there was a piece of fat after all, but it is not tethered.
They will keep an eye on him for the next few years, to make sure that there isn't any pain or cause for discomfort. It is a normal abnormality as they called it...I've heard a lot of those comments from the doctors in my own medical life, specially during my pregnancy.
I'm just so very relieved that my son is healthy and well, and we aren't facing surgery. Maybe my insomnia will dissipate now, but it sure did secure my daily...nightly... prayers for my son. :)
I truly believe that he was healed! Thank you for those prayers. The doctor looked at Bears little bum, and said that it is no longer veering off to the left as it had been...the start of all this, and that it looks normal! I do enjoy that word so much today. Normal. So now we are off to celebrate our new normal.

Showing off! :)

Little Bear is now rolling over all the time! He has since he was about 6 weeks old every once and a while, but now, its every time we put him down. :) So got a video of this today! Yes... today!

So that means I have an update for you on his MRI. Thank you so much for prayers! He did really well. Didn't  have troubles at all, which was a huge relief to us. did even well with the fasting part! Boy was he hungry when he woke up though....that was his unhappy time and did cry rather hard. He has been drowsy and slept really hard. We have been waking him up every hour though, to make sure he is ok. Just sleepy. So we all took a wonderful nap....I hadn't slept so great the last couple nights as we were waiting to do this....whew. We are all breathing a little easier.
Now up and about, ready to play...so we are on our way for a walk on this beautiful day! ;)

We will get the results on our appointment October 17th so I will let everyone know then.

Moments!

Giggle!

Loving the hat!

"blue" his favorite best friend!

First time in the baby walker toy! He loved it!

He was so excited here! Wearing his first pair of jeans!

He looks so adorable here posing! :)

This one just breaks my heart how adorable he is, even with tears!

Laughter is filling the house in a while new way! Its so wonderful!
A few pictures from the random moments at home, when I quickly grabbed my phone to capture those memories! I love being home with Little Bear so much that I can be there for these wonderful moments!

5 Months!!

Oh my Little Love bug is 5 months old! Growing so much and so fast!
He enjoys play time with different toys, reaches for anything he can try to put in his mouth and anything he can kick...including my shoulder when nursing. He LOVES the kick toy from Aunt A. W. and his blue elephant from Aunt A. H.
He loves to smile  specially when Daddy is home, and giggle like crazy at bath time when Daddy bounces him or drops him on the bed.
He has started more of a regular nap time which is great for me! I was able to have a home cooked full meal all last week! . :)

Medical Update...his MRI is Monday...7am. so do pray. Pray for that there isn't anything wrong at all! That he has been healed and for the test its self. :) I think for me my main concern is that he with be given anesthesia and that's my worry there with him being so small there can be complications, so pray those away. Thank you for all those prayers and Support!!

Sweet Dreams!

Little Bear has very sweet dreams....makes him laugh out loud in his sleep!

(I've been trying so hard to get this on video, as he has been doing this for a couple months now, but this, is just awesome! We visited TN family this last weekend...he did amazing on the flights.... and he thought his youngest Aunt was the best and Mimi was so entertaining, that with in minutes of arriving both had him laughing out loud. And many silent laughs! More priceless memories and moments! )
